Ellie Meinershagen is a junior at Rick Reedy High School studying law through the ISM program. She is the creator of "Ellie's Mum Challenge", a project which has raised over $4,000 for local charities in Frisco, TX. Ellie is also a cellist in the Reedy Orchestra as well as the Philharmonic Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. She currently serves as the Junior Vice President of Reedy Orchestra and the Vice President of the Spanish National Honor Society and spends her free time volunteering with the Frisco Arts Youth Council.

MISSION

 

My mission is to make use of the opportunities provided by the Independent Study and Mentorship program to the fullest extent, and in doing so, gain a deeper understanding of the law and the daily obligations of a criminal prosecutor. In addition, I hope to hone my public speaking, persuasive writing, and debate skills, as well as procure real-world experience by engaging in relevant assignments. Through the process, I plan to establish professional connections and relationships in this field and begin to build a portfolio for my future career in law. At the end of this program, I will focus my final product on creating a nonprofit project which provides legal service for underprivileged and lower income citizens in our community. It is my goal that through this program, we will become one step closer to true equality.
